Old fashion family camping at its best. Great place to get back to family fun and activities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Fellow campers are so friendly and welcoming. I drove up from Florida and spent the whole season here. I'm definitely coming back next season. One of my favorite events was the neon lite party. Great DJ, glow painting, ice cream floats so much fun.

We were there for are first time for 2 weeks, weekends was filled with Activities for kids which was nice even though mine are 12 an older I gave them something to do. Everyone respected the night hours and it was not loud after the particular time which was nice.

Great Camp ground. We have been coming to this campground for several years and we love it. We live in Maine and like to come here to visit family. The prices here are very reasonable and management is very accommodating. Best campground we have been too so far!

My family of 5 stayed at Acorn Acres for the first time this weekend. I can’t say enough about how kind and welcoming the staff was. From the time we showed up Friday to the time we left Sunday they were so helpful. The gentleman in the office escorted us to our site because it was our first time there. The bathrooms were always so clean! They had so much for our kids and dogs they were always busy. The pond was so relaxing and the kids loved paddle boarding and paddle boating. We love it so much we canceled another weekend at a different campground and booked here.

Acorn Acres is the best campground around! The people there are kind and treat you like family. Priscilla, the manager, is very kind, goes out of her way to make you feel at home, and ensures there are fun activities for the kids and families. My family and I love Acorn Acres ❤️

First time at Acorn Acres and we loved it! Roads are paved which makes it easy to ride bikes around the park. Bathrooms were clean. Office staff were friendly and helpful. They have great tshirts! We stayed in the Gazebo Area which holds up to 15 rigs. It's a great area to set up if you're traveling with a large group. As you can see, we were able to set up in a horseshoe. Highly recommend this campground!!

I've applied to acorn acres via internet went their 3 times my friend lives there I've left 2 messages on managers Pricilla,s office phone many spaces open now and she has not returned any of my calls Priscilla only responded to my first online application since then I've heard zero from her!! Acorn acres campground is by far the best campground out there. The staff at acorn acres are amazing they are helpful and Friendly they never treat you like your a bother . The manager of the campground comes up with all these wonderful ideas for activities for the kids to do its just truly a great place and your always treated like your family. I definitely recommend acorn acres campground

We had a wonderful stay at Acorn Acres. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favor but that is always a risk. The staff at acorn acres was super nice and upgraded us to a cabin so we didn’t have to stay in a tent during the cold windy rain. Everyone there was so friendly. The grounds were beautiful. The sites and bathroom were very clean. It felt like a very safe environment as well. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good camping experience.

A 5 star review of Acorn Acres Campground by Heidi L.Just came back from a weekend I Acorn Acres Campground in Bozrah Connecticut what a wonderful experience we were looking for a place close to home and it had everything that we were looking for the sites were very clean the people were friendly the facilities were nice and tidy I love the wooded sites we played mini golf and swam in the pool , played basketball with grandson, the camp store came in handy for eggs that were forgotten and of course we had to buy a souvenir hoodie sweatshirt for my grandson can't wait for our return trip middle of September. Hoping to get in on a corn hole tournament next timeFrom calling the office to check availability to check out the service was top notch and warm very friendly! So if you are looking for a place to camp that checks off all the boxes Acorn Acres is the place to go dog friendly kid friendly( did I mention an inflatable bouncy water slide for the littles!)RespectfulFunCleanWoodsyAffordablePerfectly located in regards to highway access and southern Ct attractionsSo in conclusion I say pack up the family and go spend a weekend at Acorn Acres!

My husband and I visited the campground a couple of weeks ago as we are looking for a seasonal site and Priscilla and her staff couldn't have been nicer! We drove around to check to it out and were very impressed. When we stopped back in the office on our way out, we asked to get on their Seasonal list! Hopefully we'll be camping there in 2023!!🌲🪵

Wonderful place to camp! It is clean, no trash or cigarette butts laying around. Has food and ice cream trucks on Friday. Pool is clean and sitting by it is wonderful. Always comes up with projects for the kids to do. Great office staff!

I stayed at Acorn Acres for 6 days last week and was so immediately impressed with the friendly, professional staff. They wasted no time getting me into my spot and checked on me a little while later. Everything at the campground was perfect, we walked most of the property discussing the numerous amenities, pool, lake, kayaks, tennis, miniature golf. The proximity to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun was great as we were meeting friends for dinner. We will return and imagine the campground will be full of life, we were very late in the season. So many people store their campers there year round is a testament of how much they enjoy the property. TY Acorn Acres, we had a great time.

I have been seasonal camper for 6 years at another location. Unfortunately the rates increased 60 percent. That increase forced 3 family's one being mine to find a new campground. Priscilla at Acorn Acres greeted us a few weeks ago and was very nice and professional. She was patient with us while we make the transition which was very difficult decision. After about a 3 week process of leaving the old campground all 3 family's are together next year in the same area of acorn acres and we could not have gotten better sites. We are excited to meet a new camp family and hope the next 6 or more years are alot of fun with all the new amenities and events that they do each week. Thank you Acorn Acres for welcoming us to your campground. So excited.
