During the past few months, the individuals who work at Acorn Acres have been working nonstop to prepare for the upcoming camping season. We know that you and your families are looking forward to the great outdoors and our campground staff is just as excited to welcome you back.
Here are some of the questions we have been getting asked.
When will Acorn Acres open?
We are already open, although we are operating with some restrictions and distancing.
What are you doing to keep families safe?
We are following all federal, state and local authorities’ directives, and the campground has been given with best practices and recommendations from the CDC, the nation’s leading health organization. We are incorporating social distancing into our amenities and activities, and heightening our sanitation procedures and systems.
What about amenities and activities?
The amenities, activities and will be adjusted until further notice as needed to comply with social distancing guidelines. Some amenities, such as pools may be closed in accordance with local government mandates, but other activities will likely be available.

This is for everyone for that matter but even more important for the little ones. You should also have swim shirts. - Pack Everything!
It’s never a bad idea to be over prepared. Think you might need it bring it. You would rather over pack then wish you brought it. - Games and Entertainment
It’s party time so get the floaties ready, toys for the sand, and plenty of things to do. Don’t forget to bring toys for your own un as well!
